Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.
We are now hiring skilled Part-Time Development Interns in Princeton, NJ. The Development Intern supports the Development Department with event promotion and sponsorship outreach. The intern will assist with coordinating events, reaching out to local businesses for sponsorships, and organizing data within our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
Starting pay is $15.49/per hour
Responsibilities
Make phone calls to local businesses, particularly in the Washington, D.C. area, to secure sponsorships and partnerships
Track and document sponsorship commitments, providing regular updates to the Director of Development
Maintain and update constituent and donation records in the CRM system to ensure accurate data tracking
Help plan and execute corporate events
Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
All other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
Candidates hold or currently pursuing a degree in public relations, communication, marketing, or a related field
Must have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to exercise independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
Working Conditions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
Minimal hazards, general office working conditions
