Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.  
 
We are actively seeking an experienced Director of Texas Host Homes in Dallas, TX. The Director will develop and manage our Host Home program in Texas. This role is responsible for host home provider recruitment and outreach while ensuring compliance with Texas Health and Human Services Commission regulations. The ideal candidate is a relationship-builder with experience in provider engagement, state and local agency coordination, and community outreach.
 
Responsibilities 
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies to attract new host home providers and families
  • Establish partnerships with Local Intellectual and Developmental Disability Authorities (LIDDAs) and other state and local agencies
  • Assess referrals for host home supports and coordinate program admissions
  • Guide providers through the licensing and regulatory process in alignment with state requirements
  • Conduct presentations and training for potential providers and stakeholders
  • Track and report recruitment metrics and progress toward growth targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless placement and support for individuals in host homes
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
  • Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
 
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, social work, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or community outreach
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Knowledge of Texas HHSC regulations and compliance processes
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
