We are currently seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Council Bluffs, IA. The BCBA uses best practices and technologies within a community setting to assist individuals with acquiring, retaining, improving and generalizing the behavioral, self-help, socialization, relational and communication skills needed to enhance relationships, and increase independence and functioning. Responsibilities
  • Implement behavioral support interventions and activities based on individual needs and ongoing assessment; frequency and duration may decrease or vary throughout the state.
  • Provide Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) – Functional Behavioral Assessment and development of a Behavioral Support Plan
  • Implement the individualized Behavior Support Plan
  • Provide Positive Behavioral Supports
  • Provide training and supervision to support staff providing ABA services
  • Provide direct supervision of the behavior technicians as required by Board Certification standards
  • Modify the Behavioral Support Plan based on frequent, systematic evaluation of direct observational data
  • Must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation
  • Provide coordinated support with program staff and participate as part of the clinical team
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • Master’s Level Board Certified Behavioral Analyst
  • Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations
  • Valid Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written forms
  • Excellent time management skills
